Welcome to the new Spirit of Christ Small Church Community Blogspot!
This blog will be a place for you to share information and to learn what other Spirit of Christ SCCs do for faith sharing materials, prayer experiences, outreach events, community life and for just plain fun. Who knows what great ideas may emerge!

Greetings and salutations from the Pastoral Department for Small Christian Communities (Archdiocese of Hartford). Congratulations on this new initiative to network folks in small Christian communities.
As chair of the planning committee for this past summer's National Joint Convocation, I can tell you that the final report and action plan that comes from the convocation, is just about ready to be sent out.
When you see it, you'll note that networking is one of the key themes identified to deepen and promote small church communities. The blogspot initiative is one of the action steps that that the plan anticipates.
So, once again SOC is on the cutting edge! Bravo!
As a board member of the NAPRC, let me express my/our special appreciation that you all have agreed to host the NAPRC conference this coming summer. I look forward to experiencing SOC and your small communities once again.
Peace.
Bob Moriarty, S.M.
Thanks Bob for the thoughtful comment! We are excited to be able to bring new technologies to support the work of the Small Church Communities!

Greetings from small church communities in the Archdiocese of Melbourne, Australia, particularly from the Upwey SCC (parish of St. Thomas More, Belgrave) to which I belong. As you prepare for the NAPRC Convocation our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Please share some insights with us at the conclusion, and let's stay in touch. Blessings, Irene Wilson.
You write very well.
